How to install vmnet8 in vmware?

I've reinstalled vmware several times already. But it does not create a vmnet8 adapter and I cannot connect from the main system to the virtual machine. I go to the network settings and see screen1.

I check the box to connect a host virtual adapter to this network and click Ok. He starts to think (skrin2).

But after that nothing happens. That is, everything returns to its original position.
