If the main thing in your question is to be able to completely remove it , then yes, you can. To do this, before installing these programs, you need to install a decent advanced uninstaller that can clean up everything that the standard Windows failed to remove (or did not want to remove).
Personally, I use Your Uninstaller 2008 , but it's paid (although it's not hard to find a spiral version). If you want a free one, I recommend geekuninstaller , but it has fewer useful options than Your Uninstaller.
