How to install the inductor (inductor) correctly?
The problem is this, I bought a choke instead of a broken one in a laptop, but for the life of me I can’t determine how to install it correctly, the image shows that one contact is smaller than the other, in fact the rule is short - , long + but on the technical document my amateurish look cannot be disassembled maybe. I appreciate any help with the answer on how to install it correctly
PS I think to use the option - unsolder the old one, see its pin arrangement. The second option is a response from the technical support of the manufacturer (Vishay) so the images are signed in English. But you need something more specific, the laptop is expensive after all.

The throttle has no polarity. But if it's easier, unsolder the old one and solder the new one in the same way.
