How to install NVIDIA driver without DKMS module?

Hello. I want to install the proprietary NVIDIA driver for my GTX 550 Ti card, for this I tried many methods: I installed through ubuntu-driversall the suggested drivers one by one, installed through the repository, through the official NVIDIA website. The problem is everywhere final: black screen. Fortunately, tty works, so after removing the proprietary driver, the performance of the graphical part of the axis was restored. Next, I used this guide: https://gist.github.com/jansanchez/ce5b0ca1c5e538f4b266

With this guide, I got further than all the other attempts, but at the end I always got an error related to DKMS. The installation driver offered to boot without it, but in any case, the error popped up the same. It was written in guides and forums of other resources that it is better to disable this module in this case, but I have no idea how, therefore, I repeat the question from the title: How to install the NVIDIA driver without the DKMS module?

Here's what it says: ERROR: Failed to install the kernel module through DKMS. No kernel module was installed; please try installing again without DKMS, or check the DKMS logs for more

informationapt install dkms

Py. sy .: if it matters, then I’ll clarify that installing the driver on Fedora, OpenSuse is problem-free, and installing Debian / Ubuntu family drivers also goes without problems, just the screen resolution worsens, but this problem is solvable. And only Elementary OS gives a black screen.

@dakaer

Solved the problem by installing these packages:
linux-objects-nvidia-390-5.11.0-27-generic
linux-modules-nvidia-390-5.11.0-27-generic
linux-modules-nvidia-390-generic-hwe-20.04
xserver -xorg-video-nvidia-390
You can specify your current kernel version
and then install the nvidia-driver-390 driver itself
