How to install modx on ubuntu?

I recently switched to ubuntu, until I figured out everything. I tried to install modx, did everything according to the instructions, but it gives me this (see photo). What could be the problem?

Can't connect to database, Mysql is running?
Access for the root user is denied, most likely you have set a password
