How to install linux next to Windows 7 (problem in UEFI, Secure boot)?
I allocated a partition for ubuntu on the hard disk, installed the OS there, indicated to install the bootloader on the same disk. After the reboot, grub does not load, but Windows 7 immediately loads.
Apparently, the problem is in the ASUS UEFI BIOS.
PS Secure Boot from under BIOS'a does not turn off, the line is not active and is in enable mode. BIOS version 0906 x64, mat. ASUS H81-plus board.
Actually, how do I do dual boot => windows 7 + ubuntu?

solved the problems with the Boot-Repair utility. Of course, I would like to figure out what the problem was, but there is no time.
you can try the syslinux bootloader ,
the disk must have a GPT partition table
in this combination, you can only install win7 / 8 x64
, you can disable Secure boot, is there a win8 support setting in the BIOS? if so, is it disabled?
