How to properly deploy kafka monitoring using monitoring agent, kafka-rest-proxy, Consumer on tomcat, influxdb + grafana ?
1. Do I understand correctly that kafka-rest-proxy is placed in isolation from kafka, i.e. not on a kafka server, but on a server where you can organize access to kafka, for example, on a server with influxdb?

2. I know that the kafka exporter monitoring agent is installed on each machine with a kafka node, but we now have a kafka mon agent, should we install it in the same way?
