How to install Intel video driver under ElementaryOS?
I decided to try in the case of ElementaryOS . For this case, I took Asus Eee PC 1015CX (this nettop has an integrated Intel video card ), broke the disk, installed it. Only 800x600 screen extension is available in the settings , although the real extension is 1024x600 . Tried to figure it out myself. The forums suggested installing the cedarview-drm driver from the settings , but after installation using standard methods, the system stopped loading. After I tried to install the same driver but from the console, but the problem remained - the axis refuses to start.
Advise how you can install the video driver, or tell me the right way to solve this problem.

This netbook has a much suffering gma 3600 graphics card.
Usually (Ubuntu) uses the gma500 driver for it.
There are many articles on this video card (Search: "gma 3600 linux"), but they are unlikely to help you make your work more comfortable on it. (Look at xubuntu for example)
Drivers for Intel Integrated Graphics come out of the box. If it doesn't work, then it's better to stay on Windows. For there is no normal support for your miracle.
