How to fix bidirectional clipboard and bidirectional drag and drop functionality in VirtualBox 6.1.26?
Good time!
Installed VirtualBox 6.1.26_Debian r145957 on KaliLinux. Created a virtual machine with win8.1, installed additions for the guest OS. The bidirectional clipboard and bidirectional drag and drop functions do not work. With the exception of Drag and Drop from the main machine to the virtual machine. How can this be corrected? Tried installing as root and via sudo, tried installing guest additions as administrator, updating and reinstalling VirtualBox. All to no avail. What can be a jamb? What needs to be fixed, where to look?
PS People write that you can downgrade to another version of VirtualBox where everything works. But something did not understand how to select it. If otherwise it is impossible and does not make it difficult, share a link to the desired version of VirtualBox. But I would still like to understand what the problem is.
