How to install an SSD+HDD system on a regular computer?
I decided to assemble a new computer and, after watching PC builds on YouTube, I decided to make a bunch of SSD + HDD. So that the OS would be located on the SSD for faster operation and startup, and all other files on the HDD. And I had a question:
How, in fact, connect SSD and HDD so that they work together like that? What type of RAID should I use?

It's best to just put two drives SSD and HDD.
On the SSD, the system, the swap file, and all the files with which you are actively working.
On the HDD - file storage, that is, those files that you store more than work with them.
This is the fastest and best option.
You can of course arrange collaboration using an SSD as a cache, but it will not be so fast.
Now this is not very relevant. Previously, when SSDs were very small, this scheme was used as a compromise between price and performance.
