How to install a printer driver available on the network?
There is a local network printer (HP LaserJet 5200) connected via USB to a computer (No. 1) with Windows 7 64-bit. You need to get access from a computer (#2) with Windows XP 32-bit. On computer No. 1, the driver that went to the disks was not installed. Downloaded from the site, installed the driver for Windows 7 64-bit. Comp # 1 and other computers with Windows 7 64-bit can print, but I try to install the driver on comp # 2, the drivers are not installed. Neither from disk nor downloaded for the respective operating system.
What could be the catch here? Or how to find the right driver?

First, where you give access to the printer, you need to specify: the "Additional Drivers" button. Secondly, there are at least 2 ways to connect a prietr in Windows. 1. as a network. 2. as local - by adding the local port "\\ip\printer", then it usually prompts you to select a driver.
