How to install a native module on Cisco IOS XE?

Colleagues, there is a task to embed your module in Cisco routers. So far, there is little information - according to the description of IOS XE, this is what suits us, because there IOS runs on one virtual machine, and its "applications" run on Linux in another.
Do you have experience with this system? Mainly interested in installation technology - is there an apk for example? Or can Docker be used? In general, any documentation is a plus, Cisco is very poor with this

Good afternoon.
I didn’t build it myself, but I came across such a module www.nedi.ch/running-nedi-on-a-cisco-router There is a virtual machine with openbsd, mysql, apache. You can download, open this module and make something of your own.
