How to inherit configuration on CISCO switches?

I need your advice dear. Once upon a time, one of my colleagues told me about such a function on cisco switches, which allow other switches to inherit their configuration. Those. for example, a topology of 3 switches in a ring, one of them is the leader, vlans are configured on it, etc. this data could be transferred to other switches. Is there such a thing or am I confusing something? Copying run config and pasting it into other Sws is not recommended.

Read about VTP/GVRP. But no one uses these things on serious networks. And yes, just like that, no one inserts the entire output of show run, people upload configs via tftp

Why don't they use VTP?
