How to increase the chances of getting a job if your speech skills are bad?
I have been a programmer for 4 years. I cope with the tasks, now I get a good salary for my region. But there is one problem - it's hard for me to pass interviews. I start to worry, get nervous, forget the elementary theory - and the person gets the opinion that I am a bad specialist. Plus, I'm very laid back by nature. How can you increase your chances if your negotiation skills are bad? Perhaps projects on github or articles on technical topics will be able to show the level?

In general, there are a lot of all sorts of trainings / practices / approaches specifically to improve communication. Go to a psychologist, for example. To start. The truth will help. If there really is a problem and it really affects you
What if, just before the interview, you directly indicate to HR your problem with negotiation skills? Tell us about how it would be more comfortable for you to pass the interview - emphasis on practical tasks, etc. Of course, this condition will not be necessary, but it can help interviewers change the approach to the interview and not “leak” you because you are worried. Most interviewers conduct interviews almost always in the same way. try to apply a uniform approach to candidates, but this is not always effective.
and the person has an opinion that I am a bad specialist.
