How to improve search in BmShop cms?

There is a site on the BmShop engine, in which the search is searched for by the name of the product, that is, if you enter the full name of the product, then it will find if not the exact one, for example, a car instead of a car, then it will not find it. Advise how to improve the search.

For starters, do not use the left cms.
For mysql - dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/string-comparison-...
But better read about Sphinx, the search will be better.
