How to implement RFID tag with LED?
Hello. There is the following task: the game board must determine the presence and type of the game piece on it by a non-contact method, while there should be no batteries in the figure. The figure standing on the board should be highlighted (there is an LED in it).
I see two ways to implement:
1. Implement as a low-power wireless charger that will provide energy to the LED in the figure. As far as I understand, the Qi standard has the ability to exchange data between the charger and the consumer, which will make it possible to identify the presence of a figurine on the table.
2. Implement an RFID reader, and a custom RFID tag in the figurine, with the ability to power the LED.
I did not find any ready-made solutions, but most likely they are, perhaps one of you will be able to point them out.
If there are no such solutions, you need to understand which of the options is easier and cheaper to implement.
Thanks to all.
