How to implement hiding the value of the directory in the 1c enterprise system (example: a dismissed employee)?

In 1s wages and personnel, there is a function when, for example, a person quits, a mark is made, and the data of this person becomes archived, while the data about this person is not deleted from the system.
Need a similar feature. In a 1s enterprise, for example, make one of the values of the "Branches" directory archival, for example, "branch No. 5" in connection with its liquidation. In the selection form in various documents, the value "Branch #5" is not displayed for selection. But in the report, you can see data on the balance of goods or movement for previous periods for this Branch No. 5.
Tell me, please, how to implement a similar function in the 1c enterprise system for directories? maybe there is some already standard solution?

What you describe is the default solution.
We added the attribute "Not used" to some of the directories, and in the list / selection forms, when opening, we impose a selection so that such elements would not be shown to the user. Immediately on the forms we hide the "Show Hidden" button, which removes this selection for the case of working with archived data (for example, select in the report for the old period). But it was UT10. It is possible that such functionality has already been added to the BSP - I didn’t dig in this direction, I don’t know ...

You can call "___delete Branch 5" then it will not shine in the selection
. There are selections in the reports - build according to the necessary branches.
All other methods are already related to programming, if you need to cut it iron.
