How to implement Comet client side on Android?

Has anyone come across the development of the client side for comet on android? Explain the process in words. On the php server. I want to implement real-time message forwarding with saving in the database. Installed Ape and dklab_realplexor. Haven't decided which one to use yet. But now it's exactly how to implement the client part on the phone that worries?
