How to implement a connection to a ready-made OpenCart site template?

Good day.
A few days ago I asked a question about the engine for the site.
Now I'm in complete confusion - I can't figure out how to connect the online store module to the site template, how to manage it and what to do with it.
So far, the template consists of several pages: main, general catalog, product information and a contact page. Everything is written by hand (HTML, PHP, CSS). The information on the pages is generated from SQL tables. Everything looks very superficial, but it works.
For full functionality, I lack registration with a personal account, a shopping cart and the ability to order any product, an admin part for adding content and other features, but what I have described is the first necessity. Advised OpenCart- I looked at the advantages and possibilities. Downloaded, unpacked and that's it. I don't understand how to use it.

Opencart is not a module, but a ready-made solution for an online store.
opencartforum.com for starters, you are here
Download the best from here myopencart.com - fully russian version
The opencart template engine is very easy to learn, I figured it out in an hour with my modest layout skills.
You can also look in the direction of CMS Prestashop, the Russian community is smaller, but I like it more especially after the update.

@Tantacula

go to the catalog/view/theme folder and see what the opencart theme consists of, only there are a lot of files there.
