How to implement a bulleted list?

I have a "Note" application on my phone, which has the ability to enter text in a bulleted list, like in a Word. I'm trying to implement the same. I insert the symbol " • " into the text where necessary. But in the "Note" application, apparently, an image is inserted into the text, since this " • " is deleted there along with spaces with one click. Help with advice or code please
