Good SEOs promote their own or other people's torrents and large media, they are not interested in fiddling with small commercial sites.
A good specialist:
1. Does not take a client if he does not see ways to advance (ie, he will say these two are interesting to me, but let these two go through the woods)
2. Plays for a long time, at least six months.
3. His actions are completely non-obvious to you, for example, he may offer to create a second site or a directory of competitors.
4. He says that descroption and keywords are complete bullshit, although everyone is talking about them.
5. Requires to create an editorial office within the company, or a person responsible for the texts, or to allocate quite a lot of money for texts to freelancers. If this does not happen, he leaves the project.
6. Has its own bases of keywords (paid)
7. Has its own bases of good sites for posting articles, exchanging links
8. Has technologies for quickly assessing the quality of any new donors.
9. Knows what bit.ly is and UTM tags
10. Do not hire a person who says "I am not a SEO"

A good SEO is in the top of Google/Yandex for queries like:
1) good SEO
2) SEO for the site
and other
SEOs are schoolchildren.
