How to hover over a table row to make the background pop out of the table edges?

Welcome all! I have a table, I want to use styles to make it so that when hovering over each of the rows, the hover background extends beyond the table to the left and right by 20px within the container. How can I do that? Example in the fiddle
And here's how it looks on the demo site background is not filled to the end of the line
