How to highlight only a pair of html tags when editing a php file?

Why does VS code highlight all the same tags in html?
What and how exactly should be done to fix it?

When I open a php file with html code, VS code, when I click on a tag, highlights all the same tags. Previously, it only highlighted the opening and closing tags, and the same ones were highlighted only on double-click.
