How to hide an object in animation?

6531af57cbfd4151af349009cd571cbf.png
How can I hide the nested "Axe" object in the "Bip0001" object without creating a new action in the dope sheet? I tried to select an action on bip0001, then hid the child object, pressed "i", but a new action was created on the nested object, and not in bip0001 ..
Tell me where to move?
I want the Persian to have items with him before choosing an animation, but with animations in which they are not needed, they should be hidden ... How to implement?

@cronk

Bip001 in this case is an armature, i.e. an object containing a rig (bones, constraints, etc.). To animate the bones themselves, you need to switch to Pose Mode. In the same mode, you need to tie the ax to the bone of the hand. And now the ax is tied to the armature itself and will not react to the movement of the bones.
