Is every modeler an artist?

Good afternoon Dear modelers.
Please tell me, is it necessary to be able to draw by hand in order to become a modeler? Or even if your level on paper is "stick, stick, cucumber ...", then you still have a chance to model cool?
Provided, of course, that in principle you are friends with a computer / software :)
Thanks in advance to all who answered!
Have a nice day.

It is necessary not only to be able to draw, but also to be a digital sculptor or architect.
But you can try to take JPG / PNG drawings, and throw them into 3D Max, outline with bezier curves

In principle, if you have brains, you can get by with basic drawing / drawing skills / stucco work
But, it will be very difficult
. and the one who knows how to simply trace images along the contour, he is usually not capable of anything else

not necessarily, although 2D and 3D go side by side, but they are a little different, but it is necessary to own software at a fairly professional level and it is advisable not to chase after studying all the programs that are necessary for 3d modeling, but choose the one that you like work. they are all similar to each other, their only difference is a different interface

You can go not from the side of redrawing with the help of bezier "whiskers", but as a sculptor creating yourself from particles, I hope I explained it intelligibly, although work on references is sometimes needed, so try at least to make some sketches for yourself
