How to get user information on the clicked object in Google Tag Manager?

Good day. Suppose that I have a certain list on my site, information about which I receive from the server. But at the same time, I need to make sure that when I click on an element of this list, I can understand exactly where the user clicked. In fact, in the browser we get something like this rendering picture:

<ul>
    <li class="googletag-trigger-item">Пункт 1</li>
    <li class="googletag-trigger-item">Пункт 2</li>
    <li class="googletag-trigger-item">Пункт 3</li>
</ul>

The manager will come to our manager about the fact that one of the items will be clicked, but it will not be clear which one.
Question: can we somehow get the text inside the clicked element in GTM?
