How to get rid of the banner ad in the Skype chat window?

Today Skype pleased with an innovation - a banner at the top of the main window:
bd42865898b08b5ae98253bd427eff79.png
And it would be okay to have adequate advertising, because there is a terribly blinking disgusting gif from Sberbank ...
There is an AdChoices icon in the corner of the banner.
Question: how to get rid of these banners?
Most of the advice on the internet refers to disabling promotional offers in your contact list - this is not it.
Do not offer the option to purchase a Premium account, I use Skype exclusively for text messages.

Then, alas, you will have to look for another messenger.
a) offers and promotions can be disabled, but you see ads
b) ads are shown on all Skype accounts with a zero balance.
Throw something into the balance. I have had 3-4 euros for more than a year, which I don’t spend on anything, as a result we have a skype account with a non-zero balance = no advertising anywhere.

Guys there is a way.
1) Go Start -> Control Panel
2) Internet Options (Internet Options).
3) Go to the Security tab!
4) Click on Restricted Sites (Dangerous Sites) -> Sites (Sites) button -> and add
*.skype.com there
5) Save
6) Restart Skype!!! All the evil banner is gone. The downside is that after that you will not be able to access the Skype site through IE, but I think it's worth it!
Everything is simple!

I rolled back to skype 4.2. 3 months - normal flight. Sometimes a small window pops up with a suggestion to upgrade to premium.

...I have not been updated for a year at the request of Skype and this innovation has passed me by. As an option :)

If any positive amount in the account is guaranteed to get rid of these ads, no problem. Where to read about the conditions for displaying these banners?

@Sterhel

Somewhere on the website of Skype itself, it should be.
Another thing is that any positive amount is the minimum that different payment systems will allow you to deposit to your Skype account. It seems that now less than 2 euros cannot be deposited through electronic money. If you pay through the program itself (desktop client) - you will be thrown to the Skype website, the minimum payment is 5 euros.
As for the minimum threshold for paying with cards, I won’t tell you, it was easier for me to throw through Yandex than to bother with linking cards.

Thank you all, the problem seems to have been solved by topping up my Skype account for 10 rubles (the minimum amount in my Internet bank for paying for Skype). In any case, after the receipt of funds, the banner disappeared.

By the way, before Qiwi wallet gave a dollar with something to the Skype account for some simple action. Look at their website.

It is strange that I did not see here a solution with ad blocking through the hosts file.
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hostst
Add 2 lines to the end:
127.0.0.1 rad.msn.com
127.0.0.1 apps.skype.com

I personally in my router: "Firewall->Filter by URL" "choice.microsoft.com"
And the banner is gone)
The same can be done in HOSTS
