How to get rid of snapshots taking up space?

Suddenly , the space usage on one of the iSCSI drives skyrocketed. The disk was of sufficient size, but I nevertheless threw it in. Now vmware is getting nervous again about datastore usage - and rightly so. There was one snapshot, now there are two. The question is, of course, a Nubian to business, but still - how to get rid of them? Now in the Snapshot manager there is this picture:

More than a terabyte of space is wasted, but it is still not rubber...
