How to get rid of extra steps in the trace?

Hello! Initially, a subdomain was directed to the server using an A record, which even in the trace did not show steps through DNS hosting, but later we directed the main domain and subdomain, which led to a couple of steps from DNS hosting. This result increased the ping of the server and to solve the problem, we decided to transfer the domain to another server, but left the subdomain (it is used by users), after 48 hours the route remained the same.

It's kind of a stream of consciousness. DNS does not affect routing in any way. The IP protocol and the UDP protocol operate at different levels.
The fact that A records do not change instantly, yes, unfortunately, it happens.
Answering the question "How to get rid of unnecessary steps in the trace?" I can say that a VPN or server placement at a site located closer to you will help.
