How to get network when booting from livecd centos?
Good night all.
The situation is this.
There is an ESXI host. It has n number of virtual machines running on it.
One of the VMs needs to make some changes. I boot from livecd and don't get, miraculously, NET.
I can not understand why it is at this step that the stupor appears. There is no eth0 interface in dmesg. By the way, there is no configuration file for this interface either.
Why does it not find the network when booting from livecd?

Maybe there are no drivers for the network emulator that you use in the virtual machine in livecd? Try changing to virtio. I don't know how possible this is in ESXI, but in a regular qemu-kvm it's easy.
