How to get access to SMART if the hard drives are connected to the LSI SAS controller in the raid + vSphere has its own organization of the hard drive array?
Good day dear community.
We are looking for information on how to access SMART data from 6 hard drives that are connected to the LSI SAS raid array, which in turn has its own logical partitioning using vsphere.
The cause of the disturbance is periodic records of exceeding the write delay from 1000 ms to 30000 ms.
What has been tried.
1) smartd through the powercli console displays data about virtual disks created in the sphere, and not about real ones.
2) the utility was installed on a remote machine and on the Megaraid Storage Manager server
it cannot find a machine with a raid controller on the network, although all services on the sphere are running and active.
I would appreciate the community's help.

LSI itself will decide whether a disk is live or dead
. And I also had records of exceeding the delay - disks did not have time for IOPS
Well , there
was another situation that scares me.
After an emergency power outage (oops also could not stand it), the server did not return to working condition, he spoke about errors in the vmware (I forgot to write down the errors because it was necessary to start the server into operation) The question remains open: how to check the smart in the above configuration (the configuration is not mine, change I'm not allowed to.) Upper management...washed their hands.
