How to get access to data if network storage is broken?
Hello! I have a WD My Cloud EX4 NAS with 4 hard drive bays. If my network storage breaks down, what will I need to do to restore data? Will it be enough just to buy a new empty storage and insert hard drives with data from the broken storage into it?

Contact the experts.
You need to know what file system it was, whether there was a raid, etc.
If you just try to insert disks into the same storage, you will most likely lose data.
There was a similar situation earlier, rearranged to another repository. As a result, not responsibly referring to the task and lost all the data. Under the condition that the system requested permission to format hard drives, well, I poked :) and poked something else, but that’s not the point)
Actually, what’s the point, it’s better to contact some organization or competent people who will help you without any problems: )
