VM Synchronization or similar to turnkeylinux Backup & Migration?
Hello colleagues. Until recently, I successfully used the TurnKey Backup & Migration service to synchronize a virtual machine on my home and work PCs, but the dollar is growing, data volumes are also increasing, which translates into small, but still not pleasant amounts.
I would like to know if there are free analogues?
The main requirement is simple:
I worked in the office, registered the command / pressed the button -> the virtual machine was synchronized. I came home, and the VM is already up to date.
And vice versa, I worked at home, came to the office, and everything was already updated there.

In fact, you pay not for the software that ensures the synchronization of your two virtual machines, but for the use of disk space on Amazon S3 (aws.amazon.com/en/s3/). The "free analogue" of S3 is Openstack SWIFT, which even a compatible API can do.
Only if you just need to synchronize files on 2 virtual machines, you don’t need anything like this “monstrous”, just use the rsync utility, which can do exactly what you need - synchronize the contents of files / directories. Or, if you are used directly to TurnKey Backup & Migration, it is an add-on for Duplicity, which can serve as a backend not only cloud storage, but also ssh / local file, etc.
