Upwork

How to get a high ranking on Upwork faster starting with a clean account?

I have a clean account on Upwork, and I set out to upgrade it.
I put up an hourly rate of $42 and now I'm taking my second but very small order. From the first order at this rate, I worked 20 minutes on the tracker. The second order is also planned for $10 or $15
Am I right in assuming that 5 penny orders from different people will allow me to score faster than if I took one big order with a lower hourly rate and did it for a couple of months?
I read that in order to show a rating, clients need to have about 5 completed contracts with different people. But in the Russian market, I usually take no more than 3 orders per year, as each one takes a lot of time. But I don't want to spend 2 years to complete 5 orders on upwork.

Right.
And you don't need to. This can be done in 2 weeks, in a month, in two.

on small projects, on the contrary, there is a high probability of losing a rating, since goon clients set their ratings more strictly. Don't worry about rankings, if you have 2 projects of $20k each, it's even better than 100% jss and $100 earned

maybe right. or maybe not - upwork does not disclose the jss calculation algorithm to anyone. and so directly and speaks directly.
not to mention that it can change it at any moment.
