Hello, I would like to try to work with multicast in practice.
I tried to stream using vlc, but there are no multicast packets on wireshark, only requests from the client to connect to the group will be received.
Tried to increase ttl in vlc settings, but nothing changed.
If you connect locally from the streamer, then everything works.
Streamer Windows 10, VLC 2.2.4
UPD:
raised a virtual machine on XP, with vlc 1.1.9 the stream works with the desired ttl

The problem was in the routes, I still had VirtualBox, and the metric before it was less, everything was decided by disabling the virtual adapter.
