Where is the best place to look for a developer?
Hello. I ran into a problem, and I hope that you will help with advice on solving it. But let's start from the beginning.
In November of that year, he launched a very promising startup. To launch it, I found a good team of specialists, whom I paid 500k to, in principle, they did what I asked for at that time. But after half a year, I ran into a huge problem, not a significant bug, which they generally forgot to test in principle, since it was very far away, and was considered not a very important detail. Because of this bug, the business is now at a standstill, as further actions are not correct during work. (Don't pay attention to my slang, in programming I don't understand anything practically). Well, I write to my fellow developers, and they tell me that "They will be free only in a couple of months," which, accordingly, does not suit me at all. In addition, they did what I needed initially to launch 4 months (I think a very long time). As a result, I decided to find other developers, found out what the site was written on, and who to look for, everything turned out to be in python, and there are very few developers on this system. So now I'm looking for someone to join my team. And I think we need a person precisely in the share, so that there would be a real interest in the development of the direction, since there are already all the specialists, and only the developer is missing. Many new innovations and directions need to be made. That's the problem, who can advise where to go? Many new innovations and directions need to be made. Place ads on exchanges . What's difficult?
If the amount paid to the developers is true, then it will not be difficult for you to find the right developers!
To the labor market. Where else. Salary + bonus, that's the whole motivation. And don't forget to document your code. Yes, it takes the same amount of time. However, for a large project, this is a must.
If the project is promising, then look for a permanent programmer, because there will always be small improvements to the Wishlist. Finding a python specialist is certainly more difficult than a php one, but it is quite possible.
If you really need to fix just a couple of bugs and not touch the system anymore in principle (although this rarely happens IMHO), then yes - a freelancer is everything. BUT personally, then I would have agreed with a freelancer for long-term cooperation, because something might still come up. Those. not so that the guy does something to you and vanishes into oblivion, but so that you can periodically hire him a little "feeding".
