How to generate avif via gulp or webpack?

Support for avifthe image format has appeared in Chrome since version 85. So, it's time to reconfigure the collectors to generate additional formats in the same way webp, so that optimized versions are created from sources and copied next to the original ones in different formats.
For webpthe problem is solved using for example gulp-webpor imagemin-webp-webpack-plugin, but for avifme I did not find ready-made solutions.
Perhaps someone has already figured out how to implement this task?
