How to forward video stream in ubuntu on raspberry pi?
Hello.
Tell me where to dig, I'm trying to figure out how to forward the standard video output to the display. There are kind of ready-made drivers and presets, but firstly they are for raspbian, and I took ubuntu, secondly they are for standard displays, and I want more, and it’s even more interesting to understand this topic.
There are fewer problems with the question of how to manage the display, there are datasheets and other delights, but I can’t even imagine how to work with a standard video stream.

Dear Klaus Kater - you are confused in terminology and confuse those who want to help you.
A video stream is a playback of a video file, video from a camera, etc.
In your case, this is Remote Desktop or Remote Desktop.
To do this, look for VNC, x2go, XDCMP.
