How to forward com port in dosbox?

There is an old program, it works under DOS with equipment connected via a serial port. Is it possible to somehow connect the com port to dosbox so that it works as native?

The setting can be done.
in dosbox-0.74.conf, there are options for the [serial] group.
Everything is done there.
