How to force yourself to study?

Hello!
The question actually was sounded above, but it would be desirable detailed recommendations.
At the moment, I have personal time for self-education (for example, learning java), but the daily routine is not at all under control, the morning starts with a cup of tea, then I go to IT news sites, which takes a lot of time, then it seems like you need to rest your eyes and brain, again for minutes 30 40 is spent on this, then, as it were, the time for lunch is approaching and it's time to cook something for yourself, and so 2-3 hours are lost again. then after lunch there is a quiet hour, and there the brain is already completely liquefied, and so every day ... it brings a little sadness that precious free days pass just like that. I tried to get up at 6 in the morning and go for a run, but apparently the body did not accept this routine and began to give up (frequent colds and impotence), and here I am again sitting with nothing. ...
but I'm only 30 years old and still have a desire to study.
I would like an instructor, maybe a virtual one exists.
I apologize for the multitasking.

Personally for me, the incentive to learn is the example of more capable (read successful) colleagues.
I also think competition is very important, without seeing beyond your own swamp, it is difficult to understand the need for some kind of action, “everything is fine anyway ...”
Everything else that can be added is banal truth. (do not neglect sleep, do not eat at night, do not squander at leisure (take your wife to the sea)).

First, understand why you want to educate yourself, based on the following example:
> I have personal time for self-education (for example, learning java)
in order to just learn java or then use ??
if the first, those to be - then the situation is just from your area, the brain thinks what for it is
if the latter, then set a goal: in addition to learning, do this or that. Then set a goal, break the stages up to it into parts and try to prescribe in time, when and how these parts should be completed. The only thing left is to follow the planned plan and see small results when reaching these milestones. If there is not at least some positive result (read the achievements at the beginning of one stage, then another, etc.), then the common goal looms very far away and sooner or later you “deflate”
In this case, you need an effort to achieve these small private goals, in order to then come to a common one.

including such readings take a lot of time, damn it, at least put some kind of firewall in your brain, the mind is ready for anything, just not to study ...

I agree withthe most optimal thing is to take some project that needs to be completed, for example, in Java that is unfamiliar to you. But on the other hand, the importance of the project should not be very serious, because. the first time IMHO qualitatively and quickly will not work. Because of it there will be some incentive, pushing. Same deadlines. You can mentally estimate: but I need so much to study it, and tomorrow I will do it ... Ie. you understand responsibility to whom - this is a very good incentive.
Of course, a very good “kick in the ass” will be if someone else studies this with you, and he will have more desire and motivation, more activity. This also spurs on, especially when it’s a shame (in a good way, of course) that he knows more, that he has gone further, that he is prepared. This happens to me often.
Well, in conclusion, I will say: discipline is important. Nowhere without her. IMHO, here it is best to choose the time, you can even draw up a schedule of independent studies, and every time tick the box - work out. It will be, as it were, some clarity of your actions - it also helps to a large extent.

No way. IMHO. Until you really want to, nothing will help. In this regard, my hobby helps me - that is, you are fond of an interesting task and went to go deep, read, try. The main thing is that there should be a return - the result of your new knowledge is visible as early as possible. Although it is just interesting to read something for the sake of general development.

Start doing any Java project that interests you. If you really get carried away, you won’t notice how you’ll master a lot of useful features using real examples
