How to force vlc to save video position and playback speed?

Is there anyone on the forum who understands vlc?
I created a playlist, saved it in xspf format to my desktop.
I open the file, watch the video to the middle at a speed of 1.4.
I close the editor.
I tear off the file again and it starts playing again at a speed of 1.

My system is Ubuntu.
Version vlc - 3.0.9.2

Here I also chose Always, but this option does not work.

it definitely does not save the last position (:
try the old/good Bomi Player
on Githab = if necessary, you will find information
about the speed = this is how it takes information from the file
I hear almost everything myself at a speed of 1.25=1.5
