How to force chrome to open links in current tab

To open in a new window, there is shift, to open in a new tab - ctrl, in a new background tab - ctrl + shift ...
And I want the link to always open in the current tab, and not in a new tab, even if the link has target = _blank.

PS Switch to FF or Opera (it definitely has this) do not campaign :)

@mSergiy

In general, while there was a fuse, I wrote my bike - Chrome extension TheOne - changes target = _blank to target = _self, plus allowed pop-up windows open as new tabs, without producing extra windows.
PS Links from gmail emails for some reason can't be changed... this problem exists in a similar extension from the post above.
