If you want to break away from reading a book to watch YouTube, then you don’t like it that much. She's not that interesting. In such a situation - do not force yourself and do what you want.
If this is some kind of technical book, then reading it without applying it to some kind of task will also not be interesting.
In such a situation - look for the problem that you need to solve with the help of this book.

Well, I also suffer from this, but I found a solution. During the day I saturate myself, and in the evening I sit down to read. The main thing is to read what you are interested in. I think it's worth trying to read the Harry Potter series of books, an interesting book and there will be no desire to be distracted and the like. In terms of focus, a comparison technique may work, for example, you watched a movie based on Harry and the reading process will be about comparing with the movie. And it will turn out that both hemispheres work and unnecessary thoughts do not climb into the head. If we are talking about some scientific books, then we already turn on the music in the background and start reading and after trying to explain to ourselves what we have read, then what seemed to be not perceived will involuntarily begin to be perceived and over time abstract.
