How to flash seagate to work with netapp storage?
Good afternoon!
There is a netapp storage system. I bought additional seagate ST1000NM0045 hard drives, but as it turned out, only drives with a certain firmware work with this storage system. I looked for info on the net, they write that the seagates are easily reflashed.
Where can I find the required firmware?

In storage systems, as a rule, custom firmware is sewn up from the storage manufacturer. The storage system will not accept a drive without native firmware, even if it is actually the same model.
Among the options is to try to download the firmware from the same disk to the storage system, and pour it into the purchased disks. Most likely, some special stand will be required for this.
