How to flash HTC One V?

There is htc one v. The standard firmware is dull, slow and full of all sorts of rubbish that I don’t need and starts by itself in processes all the time.
I want to change the firmware to the latest available android.
The main criteria: minimal risk of problems with the phone, proper speed, without loss of functionality (especially the camera). The less rubbish stuffed the better.
Tell me what exactly to flash, Google gives a lot of options and I don’t know what is better to choose.

The owner of the same device. A month ago I installed CyanogenMod 10, it mostly works quickly, but quite often it goes into wild brakes, which are treated either by killing all applications or by rebooting (if it hangs so that it does not kill). It's disappointing that there are no official firmware.
