How to flash a D-Link router?

Good day!
I have: a D-Link Dir-615 rev.E4 router with DD-WRT (I did not install it myself, I gave it with dd-wrt already installed).
Task: put OpenWRT on it right away, or first install the factory firmware, and then OpenWRT through it.
What I tried:
1. Upgrade firmware in dd-wrt itself - writes upgade fail with any firmware image except dd-wrt (which was generally obvious)
2. Enter the recovery mode of the router (Turn off the power, hold down the reset, turn on the reset after 15 seconds, set the IP on the PC, go to 192.168. what came with the router, the factory version is the latest beta. after specifying the file and pressing the "send" button, either the file is loaded and nothing happens (waited for about 15 minutes) or it gives out an incorrect hardware ID, and regardless of the image, the result is different every time.
Please advise what can be done?
