How to fix wifi connection?

Next to Windows 10 installed Lubuntu 21
If you start Windows, then restart the computer and start Linux, then wifi works.
But if the last session was on Linux and the next day you start again from Linux, then there is no Wi-Fi and does not react to anything.
You have to log into Windows and restart, then everything is fine.

There is an external usb adapter:
148f: 7601 Ralink Technology, Corp. MT7601U Wireless Adapter

Do you have any ideas please write

PS: if you take out and put the adapter back in, then wifi disappears. To make it work, you have to run Windows and again Linux

Network Manager in conjunction with netplan in Lubuntu drives you?
Or networkd with netplan?
It's easy to find out:
ls /etc/netplan

  • run lsusb while wifi is working
  • execute lsusb at the moment when wifi is not working
  • compare the output for your adapter in the first and second case
  • if different, then you need to dig towards usb_modeswitch
