How to fix the wrong choice of font-weight for a font in Chrome on Linux if there is a locally installed version?
Given: we take a font from Google Web Fonts, paste it on the page, use several styles.
Problem: for fonts locally installed (in all necessary styles) in the system, only in Chrome under Linux - font styles are not correctly selected.
Valid for Open Sans, Roboto, Ubuntu families.
The problem recurs on the Google Web Fonts preview page.
I definitely didn’t find such a bug in chrome in the tracker, I myself have been seeing it for about a year and a half on several versions of Ubuntu. The search engines also failed to find in my case.
