How to fix sudo error?

Hello!
Got a new VPS hosting with Ubuntu Ubuntu - 12.04.4 LTS.
So far, there is absolutely nothing on the server. Through the console I set the command: sudo apt-get install gettext
and I get the error:

/home/administrator$ sudo apt-get install gettext
sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified
Sorry, try again.
sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified
Sorry, try again.
sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified
Sorry, try again.
sudo: 3 incorrect password attempts

This happens with any command with sudo. How can this be fixed?
