How to fix Skype startup error on Xubuntu?

Tried installing Skype 4.3 on Xubuntu 12.04 12.10 14.04 14.10 Everywhere
the same problem.
I remember, like "Unable to connect" or "No connection"
Could there be a problem in the
hardware ?

Have you tried downloading and installing the latest version from the official site?

Did you delete the .Skype folder in your home directory? 4.3 has a partial incompatibility with the 4.2 framework and just crashes without warning.
